What is digital accessibility?
Being able to access a parking space reserved for people with a disability is a matter of accessibility in physical spaces.
Being able to access information and communication and navigate the web regardless of the context is a matter of digital accessibility. We use the shortcut “a11y” for accessibility because there are eleven letters between the A and Y of this word in English.
A11y concerns all types of disabilities: visual, hearing, motor, cognitive or neurological. The improvements and features developed to comply with it provide comfort to all users. This is a legal obligation and a continuous improvement project for all Nissan teams.
